MILKING THE TENSIONS OF LIFE CONSTANTLY

Updated: Nov 25, 2020

In life, we all experience a plethora of tensions. We can either fight and resist or we can learn how to embrace the tensions that show up in our daily lives. Tensions often reveal contradictions and contradictions often deliver limitless invitations for the activation of our ability to make wise discernment.

Who doesn't want to be fresh, nimble and have the energy to be able to discern wisely when it's needed most?

Truth is.... When we learn how to milk the constant tensions of life we save boatloads of energy. WE SAVE BOATLOADS OF WILLPOWER. Embracing tensions in the healthiest of ways allows you to ACT WITHOUT WILLPOWER. Embracing the contradictions that create the life-giving tensions of your life requires that you simply choose to embrace the other side. When you embrace the 'other side', you get to see a brand new perspective. Seeing the opposite side of your perspective creates the instant invitation for a new discernment - WITH NO WILL POWER NEEDED - WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DRAWDOWN OF ENERGY Men will frequently seek me out and ask me, "James, this all sounds great however how exactly can I do this?" The short answer is... choosing not to create absolutes and choosing not to cement yourself to a singular way of thinking about things. Now I know this is super basic. There are of course a few layers required to strengthen your ability to do this which i cover in my live events or strategic results coaching engagements. Truth is... Some things in life give you more energy! And then there are other things that rob you of energy,

WHAT ARE YOU GIVING YOUR ENERGY TO? FIGHTING AND RESISTING THE TENSIONS OF YOUR LIFE OR EMBRACING AND LEVERAGING THEM FOR YOUR GOOD? WHICH SPECIFIC TENSIONS AND CONTRADICTIONS MUST YOU NOW LEARN HOW TO EMBRACE? Who will you align with that will guide and support you with this work?

Wishing you many tensions,

James Heppner
